Objective

The students demonstrate the competence required by the work life in a selected special field.

Content

The aim of the final thesis is to provide the students with advanced skills, develop purposeful research methods as well as the skills required in individual work and evaluation. The students will demonstrate their competence in seeking and using source material and combining different knowledge and skills acquired from the study entities. At the same time, they will improve their written, visual, and oral expression. The final thesis has to be work life based and connected to planning, research or development projects of work life. The final thesis project follows the format of a seminar.

After having successfully submitted the final thesis, the students will take the maturity test, in which
they will demonstrate their skills in their mother tongue as well as their competence in the field.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Satisfactory (1) The student has participated in the tuition connected with the Bachelor's Thesis and seminar work and has left the final Bachelor's Thesis for evaluation. Her/his Bachelor Thesis shows satisfactory skills in a specific professional field. One or several assessment points have notable deficiencies.
