Objective

On completion of the course a student:
- will be able to play/ sing a repertoire of 10 tunes/ songs
- will be able to work in a small band

Content

A student will be familiar with the main styles of jazz music from the 1930's to the late 1990's.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The assessment is based on the student’s work during the course, his/her skills and knowledge at the completion of the course, and his/her ability to reach the set objectives.
