Objective

The student is able to teach music theory and ear training to a music school level group, and to apply the substance of the Subject Pedagogy 1 (Theory Teacher) study unit in practise.

Content

Teaching practise with a small group.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student:
• has completed training as agreed
• has carried out the agreed tasks
• is able to work independently
• is able to teach a course-level group music theory and ear training
• is able to apply in practice the course content of Subject Pedagogy 1 (Theory Teacher)

The student:

Further information

Qualifications: the student must have the ability to teach a small group following a plan. The course is to be studied simultaneously with the Subject Pedagogy 2 (Theory Teacher) study unit.
