Wind Instrument and Violin Pedagogy 1-2Laajuus (5 ECTS)

Objective

Students know the fundamentals of playing wind instruments or violin, are introduced to the pedagogy and teaching material of their own instrument, are able to prepare exercises, to deal with problems related to playing the instrument, to use different teaching methods creatively and are able to give elementary instruction on the instrument, are introduced to pedagogy for other instruments and gain the facilities for studying Wind Instrument and Violin Pedagogy 2.
