Objective

Students have a command of the technique required by the repertoire, have the ability to accompany from chord symbols and improvise according to harmony and song structure, are capable of rhythm section playing, and can appropriately follow the playing of the other members of the band, are able to put together a C-level repertoire and prepare it for performance, and become qualified for major instrument B-level studies.
