Fundamentals of TeachingLaajuus (11 ECTS)

Objective

The course provides knowledge of teaching and the teaching profession in social, philosophical and psychological frames of reference. Students learn to examine and analyze the work of a teacher through 'theoretical glasses'. Personal experience allows students to approach teaching theories and models analytically and critically. Because of this, it is essential to create a combination of course literature, personal experience and discussion during the course.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The assessment is based on the student’s work during the course, his/her skills and knowledge at the completion of the course, and his/her ability to reach the set objectives.
