Objective

The student familiarizes him/herself with music and musical instruments from a scientific standpoint, and its basic practical applications. The student understands the operating principles of hearing and electronic music devices and instruments.

The student:
• has participated in class
• is familiar with the mathematical and scientific principles of music and musical equipment, and their basic practical applications
• has completed the agreed exercises
• has completed the final test

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The student:
• understands the principles of the voice, electricity, musical devices and acoustics
• understands the principles of human hearing, as well as the principles of electronic musical equipment and musical instruments

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student:
• is able to apply theories related to sound, electricity, equipment and acoustics in professional practical situations
