Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The student:
• has participated in teaching
• has accomplished agreed assignments
• is able to independently set goals
• is able to work independent
• has practiced a stylistically versatile repertoire
• has practiced interpretation and improvisation typical of their instrument
• has practiced tonal and technical expression typical of their instrument
• is able to understand music aurally, visually and kinesthetically in relation to their instrument
• has performed publicly and demonstrated artistically and stylistically versatile skills with their instrument
• is able to work as part of a band and communicate their musical vision
• knows how to use certain characteristics to express a selected repertoire
• is capable of performing and communicating with an audience and a band
• is able to prepare and organize their own artistic concert
• is able to take care of the musical aspects of organizing a performance in relation to the stage and audience

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition, the student:
• understands their role in a band and is able to clearly communicate their musical vision
• knows how to use certain characteristics to express a selected repertoire well
• knows how to apply lessons learned
• is able to organize their own artistic concert to a professional standard

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition, the student:
• understands their role in a band and is able to clearly communicate their musical vision to a high standard
• knows how to use certain characteristics to express a selected repertoire to a high standard
• knows how to apply lessons learned creatively and to a high standard
• is able to meaningfully and creatively communicate with an audience and band members
• is able to organize their own artistic concert with a high standard of professionalism
