Objective

The student gains more advanced knowledge of the methods of playing the instrument, is able to express him/herself creatively, and learns to utilize the essential methods of playing the instrument. The student familiarizes him/herself with more advanced accompaniments and is able to rehearse multi-styles repertoire.

Content

-The most common styles of accompaniment
-Exercises in technique, coordination, theory, music reading and sight reading
- More advanced accompaniment rhythms.
- Work and interaction in duo

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The student:
• has participated in teaching
• has accomplished agreed assignments
• is able to work independently and with a partner
• has practiced the agreed repertoire
• has practicing interpretation typical of their instrument
• is able to use means of expression and accompaniment rhythms characteristic of their instrument
• has publicly performed stylistically versatile accompaniments with their instrument
