Renaissance/Baroque Ensemble 1Laajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The student should become familiar with Renaissance/Baroque ensemble repertoire as a member of different types of ensembles. Harpsichoprd players should also become familiar with the role of a continuo member in a large ensemble.

Content

Study of various styles and performance practices of each epoch through rehearsal of specific works; developing ensemble skills under the guidance of the chamber music teacher.

Qualifications

Early music as main subject. Others should be taking Specialised Early Music Course.
