Movement and Dance in Music EducationLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The student gets experiences and knowledge in using movement as a means in music education and to apply it with children of all ages and also adults or special education contexts.

Content

The course is focusing of getting to know movement in music education by doing different activities in a student group. The course also includes getting information about child development, supporting the leanrning skills in general and music education methods using movement (Dalcroze eurhythmics and Orff-pedagogy).
