Early Childhood Music Education 4Laajuus (9 ECTS)

Objective

The student deepens the kowledge and experience in music education in order to achieve such pedagogical and artistic skills that enable the student to give meaningful, child-oriented, creative and artistic growth supporting music education.

Content

The course contains deepenig the knowledge and experience and applying the methods and knowledge with different ages and target groups. The growth as a teacher is supported also by specializing and deepening one´s areas of interest and getting information and experience in a wide angle. The projects including the course can consist of for example music with elderly, children with special needs or working in orcesra´s education programmes.
Working methods consists of variety of groupwork, projects, workshops, lectures, demonstrations, exercises and litterature.
