Objective
The students understand the physical foundation of the sound and identify the fundamental terminology. They can set up a basic sound recording system and record with a camera or an external recording device. They can also calibrate the system. They master the basics of team work from the point of view of sound. The students also learn the basic use of the audio workstation and can also produce sound based on their own thoughts and expression from recording to the final master format. The students
know the common sound division in film, television, or radio work. The students will outline the tasks in the entire production process.
Content
The course introduces the basics of technology, expression, and production, which bring out the special nature of sound in film, television, and radio production. The students focus on sound through lectures and practical group work as well as carry out individual assignments.
