Fundamentals of Film and Television StorytellingLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The students outline the syntax of scriptwriting and narration as a part of a film making process.
The students gain basic skills in conceptualizing the basics of genre theory and special dramaturgical features of film and television storytelling. The students master the three act structure of the feature film. The students also can analyze the narrational dimensions of the character as well as conventions of the film narration.
