Objective

The students form an outlook concerning the production management of a fiction film. They can set up a production plan and the so called "production bible" for a short fiction film. The students can coordinate planning and prepararatory taks of different production groups. They can manage the production infrastructure and the budget. Moreover, they understand the importance of both interior and exterior communication with respect to different stages of production. They also master the basics of marketing.

Content

The students learn and practice breaking down the script, scheduling, and budgeting.
The students find out what kind of information is crucial for the work team and other parties involved
so that everyone has access to the same information about the artistic, economic, and productional goals and practices. They also become familiar with how to market the film.
