Fundamentals of ProductionLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The students understand the production process of a documentary film or a TV documentary, as they complete a small practical assignment. They learn how an idea is transferred into a TV programme or a documentary film through work tasks related to image, sound, and production. The basics of team work are mastered from the point of view of production. Moreover, both the requirements set by the production environment and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences are understood with respect to production. The students can successfully present their documentary or TV production as well as form contracts and filming licences with the performers.
