Financing and Distributing a Television SeriesLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The students learn how to finance and distribute the domestic TV series and how to make a sales file for the TV series. The students also recognize various profiles of both domestic and international screening channels and screening locations.

Content

The students will compile a sales file based on their own idea of a TV series. They will investigate the profiles of domestic or international distribution channels and take the ordering, financing, funding and delivery processes into account from the point of view of the television series. Portfolio work is included in the studies.
