The Camera and the Actor 2Laajuus (6 ECTS)

Objective

The students can view the director's work with respect to different tasks. They can film and edit a fictive short film. They can use a mobile camera in their visual expression. They master staging, costumes,
and the basics of make-up.

Content

Making an image and a lighting plan, staging, shooting, directing, editing, and post production work for a short fiction film
Screening the film and feedback
Hydraulic operating system

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Participating the lectures.  Exercises done, some shortages.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

Active participating to the lectures. Ability to adapt.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Active participating to the lectures.  Ability to adapt and reflect. Exercises done with new knowledge to the subject. 

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
