Objective

Students know the multichannel formats of film production and the music industry. They have basic knowledge of multichannel formats and applications used in other contexts. Students can break down and analyze the sound elements of a film according to the technical and expressive requirements of multichannel recording, and appreciate the special features of multichannel recording and mixing of music for film.
