Objective

The course offers a glimpse into the past an present of Finnish culture in all its forms and variations (high culture, sub culture, multiculture, urban culture, Finnish, Finnish-Swedish and Sami culture etc.) as well as Finnish media, design and politics.

Content

30 hours of lectures and discussions, written material, visits to selected venues where students can get an insight into various aspects of Finnish culture, media and politics first hand from the movers and shakers themselves.
