Practical Training in DirectingLaajuus (15 ECTS)

Objective

Students analyse their own directing abilities, and set artistic goals for their own work. Students become familiar with the artistic process, which includes artistic and production design, the rehearsal process, facing the audience, direct feedback, and artistic and production disassembly. Students assume responsibility as members of the artistic process. They acquire experience in directing an artistic production and a working group. Students carry out the work placement according to their specialisation.

Content

Work placement in the area of directing means preparing and directing a performance in an educational institution or in a theatre or community approved for the project.
