Objective

Students recognize the foundations of their performer identity and is able to work as a performer and reflect on their own processes. Students know how to develop their performing skills. Students are able to work in a creative group process holistically and interactivelly. Students demonstrate an ability for spatial orientation in relation to themselves, other performers, the performance space and the audience. Students know the basics of good sound production.

Content

The Stage Work coursees 1 and 2 intertwine in a collectively devised production or event. In section 2, Stage Expression, students learn about the fundamentals of stage art from the perspective of acting. Stage expression studies give students an insight into the various aspects of theatre work, broadens? their somatic expression and deepen their understanding of the essence of being a performer. The course explores the basics of acting, such as working with internal and external impulses, text interpretation and working on dramatic scenes.

Participating the lectures. Exercises done, some shortages.

Active participating to the lectures. Ability to adapt.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Active participating to the lectures. Ability to adapt and reflect. Exercises done with new knowledge to the subject.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Completing the course with a pass grade requires that a student has met the objectives of the course as defined in the course implementation.
