Objective

Student will know the basics of tensides and the use of tensides in the cleaning process. Student will learn to count solubility parameters and the use of them in the cleaning process.
Student will be able to adapt the knowledge of cleaning methods to the best possible methods of conservation project.

Basics of water based and solvent based cleaning chemistry.
Effects and properties of chemicals in the cleaning process.
Introduction to the cleaning chemistry research publications.
