Objective
The student will have a good command of the conservation photography techniques and can apply his/her knowledge to practice. The student can adjust the colors and tones in photoshop if needed.
The students will learn in theory and practice the basics of analytical photography methods and the correct interpretation of the results. Students should be able to connect the interpretation results with the further treatment of the painting and the results of other investigation methods.
Content
-An introduction to analytical conservation photography techniques relevant to a variety of career options
-The basics of color managed studio techniques
-The basics of studio lightning techniques
-Photographing and adjusting raw format files
The students will learn the use of analytical photography as an aid in the examination and documentation of art objects. The various analytical photographic methods will be lectured, demonstrated and then practiced by the student such as tangential light photography, UV photography (fluorescence), IR photography, IR vidicon techniques and Xray. All results will be interpreted together with the teacher

Approved passing of the course demands that the student fulfills the requirements specified in each course implementation.
Further information
The main content of the Photography 2 course is the learning of analytical photography methods and techniques, used to document objects under conservation and analyze the materials and construction techniques of the objects. The material taught during Photography 1 course will be remainded if necessary.
