Objective

The student understands the nature of project work and the requirements concerning contracting, scheduling, planning, project management and documentation.
The student understands the principles of project work and is able to take into consideration the importance of communication and co-operation with different interest groups.
The student understands the importance of communicative skills. The project encourages to creative problem-solving.
The student will deepen his/her own field of expertise and will be able to evaluate his/her own expertise as part of a project. The student will develop an understanding of how to acquire and revise information from different sources as well as adapt that information to a new material.

Content

The project can be implemented with working life. It can be different tasks of a conservator or a museum worker in the museum field or done for a private client. It can be inventory done from a conservator's point of view, collection deterioration inventory and documentation, storage planning, actual conservation work etc. depending on the client's needs.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

Approved passing of the course demands that the student fulfills the requirements specified in each course implementation.
