CAD II for Textile DesignersLaajuus (4 ECTS)

Objective

Learning objectives:

Upon completion the student is able to design a pattern collection. This collection and the motifs will be revised by using an image manipulation program and special textile programmes suitable for several textile techniques. The student will understand how to design different surfaces and materials by using computer-assisted programmes.He/she understands how to modify the patterns to make them suitable for different techniques and what are the limits and possibilities for different digital equipment. The student will apply his/her knowledge acquired in classes into different visual exercises.
