Objective

- Student becomes an active member of the community and the society
- Student can apply meeting and negotiation techniques for associations
- Student develops in responsible and goal-directed organisational work
- Student broadens her/his decision making and organising skills
- Student increases her/his information seeking and communication skills
- Student develops her/his interaction and group work skills

Content

- Working as a student association board member at least for one term (11 months)
- Familiarising oneself with the basic principles of organisational work
- Getting acquainted with societal decision making as well as meeting and negotiation techniques
- Learning to organise activities and projects

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

- Active participation in the meetings of the student association
- Participation in the activities arranged by the Student Union, like meetings of the Interest Promoting Committee
- Participation in trainings arranged by the Student Union or replacing assignments
- Sector specific activity report
- Familiarising with the literature
- Learning diary (three parts)
- Participation in the course meetings
- Assessment discussion
- Accepted / requires complementing / failed
