Objective

The student becomes familiar with counselling and guidance. The student understands the possibilities and challenges of counselling and guidance in client work. The student acquires theoretical and practical knowledge and skills necessary in counselling and guidance.

Content

Counselling approaches and environments. Counselling and guidance as a part of client work. Interaction in counselling and guidance. Counselling styles. Ethical aspects of counselling and guidance. Special characteristics of online counselling.

Qualifications

The student must have completed most of the core studies and Work Placement 1.
