Objective

Students understand diversity and are aware of their own attitudes. Students are able to analyse different processes of intercultural interaction and phenomena related to them. Students are able to act as mediators between cultures and to support clients in their cultural identity development. Students learn anti-racist policies and they learn how to work in multicultural environments.

Content

Basic concepts related to multiculturalism, the process of the development of cultural identity, facing diversity, intercultural communication, multiculturalism and its challenges to socio-pedagogical work, ethnicity and racism, the basics of anti-racist and multicultural practices.
