Objective

Reading, writing, information searching, and group interaction skills will improve. The goal is to acquire the written and verbal skills necessary for research and development work in the language of study. Requirements include taking an active and critical approach to modern-day communication media, improving written and verbal output in study and work related tasks, and gaining an understanding of the processes involved in gathering, analysing, and sharing information

Confidence in public speaking: speech as a medium of influence, conversational speech, and interaction in a group
Verbal expression and voice control
Planning and illustrating speech in various contexts: taking the floor, introducing a topic, counselling and teaching, seminar work, and peer evaluation
