Objective
Students will understand the significance of diverse families and be able to identify families’ ways of interaction as well as the resources within families. They will be able to manage in the multiprofessional work environment of family work. Students can apply family work methods flexibly in supporting parents and families.
Content
Family, its significance and possibilities. Interaction within families and resources. Family-centred and family-oriented approaches. Multiprofessionalism in family work. Good enough parenting. Guidance on parenting skills, supporting parents. Family work methods and family research.
