Diagnostic methods in optometry 3Laajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

After completing the study unit, students can measure fields of vision and examine the back of the eye with an ophthalmoscope. They can explain the operating principles of direct and indirect ophthalmoscope, gonioscopy and equipment measuring field of vision as well as identify normal and acceptable measurement tolerance. Students are able to utilise diagnostic medicines in their examinations safely and appropriately.
