Combined ProsthesesLaajuus (6 ECTS)

Objective

The student will make combinations of removable and fixed prostheses. He/she will learn about problems involved in combining prostheses and will be able to combine basic dental expertise with specialist expertise required in the design and implementation of making combined prostheses. He/she will prepare different kinds of milling and bracing techniques and conical and telescopic crowns with high-precision milling equipment. The student will learn the operating principles of attachments and will be able to use and make them himself.
