Occupational profiles of graduates
A dental technician graduating from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is an expert in health care. He/she manufactures, repairs and maintains in co-operation with a dentist both removable and fixed prostheses needed in the rehabilitation of the occlusal organ as well as orthodontic appliances that promote the welfare of the client. In addition to the above mentioned areas, a dental technician can also specialise in making maxillo-facial prostheses.

Access to Master’s Degree studies at a university of applied sciences or a university. Access to specialisation studies.
