Objective

The student will learn the stages of basic x-ray examinations and will be able to plan, carry out and evaluate them in a customer-oriented way. The student will understand the operating principle of the imaging methods and research equipment. The student will be able to use them safely and to carry out technical quality assurance. The student will learn the use of information networks in customer care, and he/she will understand the significance of protecting customer data. The student will have the ability to guide different customers in these examinations, and to work aseptically.

Content

Basic x-ray examinations of the skeleton, thorax and abdomen areas, orthopantomography, mammography, examinations outside the x-ray unit, quality assurance equipment and its use, basics of equipment used in conventional and digital imaging, image network, archive and workstations, data protection, different customers in the capital region, examinations as part of the customer's overall treatment

Qualifications

Courses that support Radiography and Radiotherapy studies in part
