Objective

The student understands the effect of cancer on the patient, receives information about the pharmacology of drug treatment, and deepens his/her understanding of radiology to include interventive radiology.

The course consists of the following:
SXXCN01X Oncology: 1 credit
The student receives information about the commonest types of cancer, their aetiology and treatment.

Cancer, factors affecting cancer and cancer treatment.
SXXCN01C Pharmacology: 1 credit
Objectives
The student will learn about the pharmacology and pharmacodynamics and providing safe drug treatment.

Pharmacology terminology and research.
SXXCN09C Radiology 3: 1 credit
Objectives
The student will learn about radiological examination and diagnostics of blood vessels and the areas in which interventive radiology can be applied.
