Objective
The student will learn to plan, carry out and assess the most typical examinations performed with magnetic examination equipment He/she will know the operating principle and safe use of the equipment. The student will be familiar with the safety factors involved and the proper use of contrast media. The student will learn what magnetic imaging can be applied for and become familiar with the procedures. He/she will be able to apply his/her knowledge in topographic anatomy, physiology and clinical physics in carrying out examinations in a customer-oriented way.
Content
Core magnetic resonance, magnetic equipment, factors affecting image formation, image quality, imaging sequences, evaluation of image quality, different areas of applications, contrast media, clinical patient care, safety factors, different types of customers, research process, magnetic imaging as part of the overall care of the patient.
