Objective

The student understands that what forms the foundation for social welfare and health care is also the basis for professional radiographers. The student?s professionalism is manifested as an ability to operate within the bounds of the customer?s and radiographer?s rights and relevant legislation, and in being able to take responsibility for his/her professional development. The student will understand the needs and special characteristics of their customers and their close relatives that come from varying backgrounds. Theoretical expertise consists of the student's ability to appreciate customer-oriented patient care in different contexts and of a willingness to learn more about the methods and application areas of radiography and radiotherapy. The student will understand radiography and radiotherapy as part of the customer's treatment path, and learn more about the subject in professional interaction with others.
