Objective

Students are familiar with physical therapy interventions that they may use to alleviate a client’s pain. Students apply pain treatments according to each specific situation as part of the client’s podiatric care. Students are aware of special treatments used in podiatry and follow experiences resulting from their use. Students familiarise themselves with foot baths and know how to use these with discretion in order to promote foot health and mitigate foot problems.
