Objective
Students understand the rehabilitation system and are capable of making use of it for the benefit of people in rehabilitation. Students are able to make use of the knowledge resources produced through research and development in rehabilitation. Students command rehabilitation practices in order to develop rehabilitation expertise.

Rehabilitation as an activity - rehabilitation service systems - provision of rehabilitation Rehabilitation at regional, national and international levels Rehabilitation practices and premises - basic values of rehabilitation - status and engagement of clients in rehabilitation - professional interaction and way of relating - rehabilitation as a change process; rehabilitation plan - Current Care Guidelines, good practices - multidisciplinary networks and tools - practices of implementing rehabilitation expertise - interactive framework of functioning, disability and health (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, ICF) and objectives and assessment of rehabilitation (Goal Attainment Scaling, GAS) Identifying development areas in rehabilitation and the challenges of the Metropolitan Area
