Objective

Students are familiar with the operating principles of thermotherapy and electrotherapy equipment and understand its basic properties and effects, so as to be capable of choosing an appropriate form of therapy for each client, including optimum output levels and duration. Students are familiar with the special characteristics of equipment, safety regulations and contraindications for therapy.

Physiological effects of different thermotherapies and forms of current
Functional principles of different thermo- and electrotherapies.
