Objective

Students
demonstrate competence in antenatal follow-up and care methods of midwifery and are able to carry out a postnatal examination after a normal birth and learn to identify risks related to it
are able to provide parental support to families and encourage them to embrace healthy lifestyles and independence
plan, implement and evaluate antenatal care throughout the pregnancy regarding changes in the woman and family´s health and encourage them in independent decision-making concerning their health
become competent in early interaction with families after their discharge from hospital.

Prerequisites:
Nursing of Children, Young People and Families -Clinical Practice 9 cr
