Objective

Students
familiarise with health issues and changes in women either planning a child or already pregnant, health issues and changes of a foetus, and the individual, cultural and environmental factors affecting them.

The core competence of this study unit relies on the recognition of the objectives and settings of maternity welfare and the challenges of midwifery caused by changes in society.
