Nursing of the Elderly - Clinical PracticeLaajuus (6 ECTS)

Objective

Students deepen their competence in nursing of the elderly. They learn to recognise individual health-related changes of the elderly and are able to utilise indicators used in the evaluation of functional capacity of the elderly. Students are able to provide ethically high standard of nursing and rehabilitation of the elderly when planning, implementing and evaluating their nursing care. They also learn to collaborate with significant others in a goal-orientated way.
