Objective

The student will know the basics of construction industry contracting, and their implementation in job site works today. The objective is to present housing, business, municipal and factory building types, their differences of contracts, and the importance of renovation work contracts.

Construction industry contracts, job site implementation, contracts for housing, business, municipal, industrial and renovation works.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

The students knows the basics of construction contracts, their implementation, key areas of production methods and evaluate production contracts for manpower, materials and building regulations

Assessment criteria, good (3)

In addition to the requirements above, the student is able to explain different contract methods for public, private, and joint venture contracts, as well as identify the hotspots in contract negotiations.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

In addition to the requirements above, the student has a deep understanding about the topics covered in the course and is able to apply them creatively and sensibly in different applications.
