Objective
After completion of this course the student will know the properties and possibilities of programmable logic devices. The student also knows when it is beneficial to use programmable logic devices. The student will know the basics of VHDL-hardware description language.

2. Implementation of combinational and sequential logic with programmable logic devices
3. FPGA design flow and design tools
