Introductory ProjectLaajuus (3 ECTS)

Objective

The main objective of the project is to make the students work as a group and learn team working skills as well as basic knowledge in project management. The student is to get familiar with the working methods and practices in his/her own field of study.

The objectives and contents of the evening studies groups are instead related to the reflection of their previous knowledge through an individual practical (or in some cases) theoretical project. The criteria given below do not apply to evening studies groups.

Content

The contents of the project (may) change yearly.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)

1. The student is able to work as part of a group in problem solving situations.
2. The student is able to work effectively in a project making his/her efforts to achieve common goals.
3. The student is able to use the working methods and practices learnt in this practical project.

Assessment criteria, good (3)

The assessment criteria of good and excellent grades change yearly. They may be based for example on peer assessment, small competitions between student groups etc.
