Objective
After completion of this course the student is able to make unit changes. The student understands the structure of the solving process. The participant knows how to describe things using quantity equations. He or she also knows how to solve these equations and how to give the final result. The student can combine vectors and split them into components. The participant knows how to solve problems of kinematics when the object under consideration either moves along the line or is thrown with known slope.
Content
1. Quantities and units.
2. Solving problems, quantity computations and how to give the solutions.
3. Fundamentals of trigonometry and vector algebra.
4. Graphical representation and graphical methods.
5. Kinematics of propagation.
6. Trajectory.
Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1)
1. The student is able to handle the quantity equations in case those quantities are given in a “numeric” form.
2. The student can solve problems of kinematics in case of movement along the line.
Assessment criteria, good (3)
1. As level 1.
2. The student is able to solve problems using graphical methods.
Assessment criteria, excellent (5)
1. As level 3.
2. The student knows how to solve problems relating trajectory.
