Objective

On completion of the course the student will be able to communicate appropriately and in a structured way in projects and group communication situations as an expert of his or her field, apply the principles and textual conventions of Finnish academic communication to his or her final year project and to field-specific tasks and use essential sources of information in his or her field proficiently.

Content

Conventions of academic communication for the final year project and for development tasks in the field. Communication and interaction in a project: oral project communication and the documents of a project, for example project plan, reports and bulletins. Consultations, meetings and negotiations and the related documents. Professional information literacy.
