Osaamistavoitteet

On completion of the course student understands the basic concepts of EMC and knows who to apply EMC as part of embedded system design procedure. Additionally the student can analyze different coupling methods of interference and is able to minimize the effect of both radiated and emitted noise with proper system design and shielding and understands the EMC regulations and testing procedures.

Arviointikriteerit, tyydyttävä (1)

On completion of the course student understands the coupling methods of interference and is able to solve simple EMC problems in embedded systems.

Arviointikriteerit, hyvä (3)

On completion of the course student is able to analyze coupling methods of interference and to minimize the interference in embedded systems with proper systems design procedure.

Arviointikriteerit, kiitettävä (5)

On completion of the course student is able to analyse EMC issues of small scale embedded systems and to design digital systems with minimal radiated or emitted interference. The student is also familiar with EMC regulations and testing as part of a product design process.
